The Gitschtal lies between two of the most beautiful lakes (with drinking water quality) in Carinthia: the Weissensee and the Pressegger See. From canoeing to surfing, you have a huge selection of water sports.

The outdoor adventure pool in Weißbriach is only a 5-minute walk away from Hotel Löffele and offers optimal bathing fun and relaxation.

Weissensee

A top class natural playground: the Weissensee is famous for its turquoise, clear water with a white sandy bottom.

As one of the purest bathing lakes in Carinthia, it offers wonderful bathing experiences with water at around 25 °C. Whether swimming, water sports, hiking or cycling, here you have a multitude of possibilities to experience the lake and its nature park.

Tip: The Weissensee is also one of the most popular diving areas in the Alpine region. Visibility up to 20 meters is not uncommon!
